Blend of Imperial Stouts aged for 12 and 16 months in bourbon barrels then conditioned on Ghanaian cocoa nibs, coconut flakes, Madagascar vanilla beans, and estate-grown toasted pecans.
Three Layers is a liquid tribute to my grandmothers cake recipe. She used to make me a three-layered German Chocolate Cake every year for my birthday.
It was, and still is, my favorite.
It only felt right to make this an annual tradition at the brewery, releasing Three Layers every year around my birthday, March 1st.
